OnePlus 10 Pro is likely to launch by the end of this month
Referencing the OnePlus at MWC 2022 and a tweet from tipster Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus 10 Pro is slated to arrive by the end of this month. The launch could take place on March 22nd or March 24th as Brar puts it although we will still have to wait for an official commitment. These tentative dates are for its Indian release although OnePlus usually releases its phones globally so European and North American users should get it too.
OnePlus 10 Pro Specifications
The phone has been around for weeks now given the fact that it launched in China in January. The phone sports a 6.7” 2K Fluid AMOLED LTPO 2.0 120Hz panel with a GG Victus on top. It has an HDR10+, MEMC, and offers up to 480Hz of touch sampling rate which is phenomenal. OnePlus 10 Pro gets its power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. There’s up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. As usual, the flagship lineup from OnePlus doesn’t get a microSD card slot. There’s Android 12-powered OxygenOS 12 out-of-the-box.
There’s a 32MP selfie snapper housed in a tiny punch-hole while the rear camera assembly uses a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra-like huge camera setup. It houses a 48MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto cam. It comes tuned by Hasselblad for color calibration. The device gets a beefy 5,000mAh battery under the hood. You get a 80W SuperVOOC (from Oppo) charging tech and a 50W wireless AirVOOC charging. AMOLED panel allows for an in-display fingerprint scanner as usual. There’s USB-C, Wi-Fi 6e, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, 4G, and 5G support, among other features. You also get stereo speakers with the device.
