The first week of October this year marks the first anniversary of Windows 11. As the community expects something from the OEM to do something on that event, Microsoft is hopefully preparing for the launch of Windows 11’s next feature update! We’ve already learned that Microsoft is switching to a one feature update per year mode, with the launch of Windows 11. Thus, this year, it’ll be only one feature update coming to the latest Windows 11 OS. And it’s codenamed as Sun Valley 2, with the build version as Windows 1122H2 10.0.22567.100 and cumulative update code as KB5012427. To all the Dev channel users of Windows Insiders, Microsoft has listed Windows 11 22H2 for testing in the last Thursday update. Though the company is yet to decide on the official public name of its next version, it’s continuing until then with the version name as Windows 11 22H2. This update is aimed at fixing the current issues in the initial version of Windows 11 and bringing in a few new features. These include tweaking the current interface of Windows 11 like Start Menu, Control Center/notification, native apps like MS Paint, Windows Settings, and support for taskbar drag and drop too. With nearly six months till the official launch of this update to general users, we may see more features of such leaking and exciting the community.
